So what exactly is the Power Series and how will it benefit you? This is the question many of our doctors are asking. The answer is simple. The Power Series is an elite, invite-only lecture series designed to push the boundaries of your knowledge of implant dentistry and to expose you to the most cutting-edge procedures – like Full Arch Implant Placement – available today. If you’ve complete Implant Seminars’ Masters Series, as well as the Implant Dentistry Continuum™ and attended at least one Live Patient program in the Dominican Republic, this series is the must-take next-step in your continuing implant journey. Even if you have met these requirements, only a small percentage of applicants are accepted each year.
What separates this program, what defines its uniqueness, is the quality of speakers invited to attend. These aren’t your run-of-the-mill clinicians. In not many, but in ALL of these lectures, you’ll be hearing from the foundational voice who pioneered the treatment they will discussing. To put it succinctly, only Dr. Arun K. Garg, the preeminent authority on advanced bone grafting and the co-discoverer of PRP, with his more than 25-years academic and surgical experience, has the contacts and networking skills to bring this caliber of talented people. Names like: Robert Marx, Tomas Albrektsson, and Rolf Ewers are just some of the doctors who will be featured throughout the program.
Offered to doctors who have demonstrated an unmatched dedication to dentistry, who possess an uncommon passion and drive, and who are considered the “go-getters” in life, take a moment to browse our brochure to learn more and decide if you’re ready to apply!
Advanced Autogenous Bone Grafting with Hands-On Workshop
- 2 Day Course - This course is limited to 14 participants
- Date: July 28-29, 2018
- Location: Miami, FL
- Tuition: $1895
It’s a fact. In dentistry today, over 90 percent of dental implants placed will end in success. But what about the other 10 percent? What’s the primary driver of implant failure for implants that do fracture? Insufficient bone. That’s why bone grafting, especially autogenous bone, taken from another part of the patient’s body, is so critical. It’s also why advanced bone grafting is so important for complex implant cases. Without this essential knowledge some of your most challenging cases will be outsourced to someone else.
Considered the “gold standard” for bone replacement, grafting a patient’s own bone onto another location ensures that there’s sufficient bone for the implant/s to osseointegrate. Likewise soft tissue treatment completes the union of human tissue with an implant’s titanium screw.
Joined by an expert team of clinicians with decades of combined experience, Dr. Frank Zastrow M.Sc., an experienced oral surgeon and former senior physician at Prof. Fouads Khoury clinic, teaches the two-day course. Held in Miami, Florida, the hands-on component is addressed to all clinicians who already have experience in augmentation and are eager to learn the various bone harvesting and augmentation techniques for multiple clinical situations. Clear guidelines for the use of autologous bone blocks and the classic GBR-techniques in order to achieve predicable results are also provided – as is relevant soft tissue management and bone harvesting techniques demonstrated and trained on synthetic models.
